DANISH ELECTION 19

This project takes its starting point 30 km north of Copenhagen, where children and families are trapped in the political limbo, living in poor conditions; Rejected by the state of Denmark, and without possibility, to leave.

This project is an Instagram action, a continuation of the project “Designing Activism”. In attempts to get the Danish Society to stand up against the dehumanization of rejected asylum seekers living in Denmark. The days up to the parliamentary election, we created a virtual demonstration on Instagram, by sharing a digital banner broad to danish influencers and communities.

The SoMe action was following a longer research process of clicktivism and digital media in protest, and a designer's role in activism and politics.
